John S. Perez is a Registered Architect and Certified General Contractor based in Miami, Florida.

John grew up in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. His father is a high-end residential Architect and Builder, and his mother an Artist. John was exposed to Architecture and Construction from a very early age, visiting his first job site, an eight story condominium building, at the age of four. He continued visiting dozens of his father’s job sites throughout his youth, seeing the process of project inception all the way through delivery to the client.

Prior to opening his firm in early 2015, Perez worked in Miami for Revuelta Architecture International as Junior Architect, collaborating on the design of many of the condominium high rise buildings in South Florida, most of them over 45 stories high. He also worked on-site for Key International Development, during the construction of The Ivy and The Mint Condominium projects in the Brickell area. His contribution and experience ranged from assisting in Construction Administration, coordinating with the General Contractor as the Owner’s Representative, and condominium unit delivery to individual buyers. Through this, John gained an understanding of the developer/general contractor relationship, as well as the sales team/unit buyer process.

He then moved on to become Director of Architecture for MB Development. During his time at MB, he designed the Grand Beach Hotel Surfside EAST, Grand Beach Hotel Surfside WEST. As Director of Architecture, he was in charge of designing the hotel architecture, as well as coordinating all aspects of engineering, landscape, and interior design to produce bidding and construction document drawings. Perez and his team were on-site throughout the entire construction process, working very closely with the in-house Construction team and Hotel Operations.

John S. Perez received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Miami in 2006. While at University of Miami, he enrolled in 2 study abroad courses. One was the Open City Studio: Bangkok summer architectural design course, studying architecture in Thailand, China and Japan. The other was the Grand Tour of Europe, a summer architectural history course through France, Italy, Spain and Greece.

Benji Perez is a Certified General Contractor based in Miami Fl.

Benji Perez received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Double Major in Construction Management and Real Estate from the University of Denver in 2006. While attending, he was selected to represent the University of Denver at the Annual NAHB Student competition that took place at the International Builders Show in Orlando Fl. He was also selected out of dozens of applicants for a sought out internship at Village Homes of Colorado.

Upon graduating, Benjamin Perez decided to move to Miami where he gained employment as a Project Field Engineer at Pavarini Construction. He gained a wealth of knowledge in high rise buildings participating in the construction of 900 Biscayne, a 65 story building in the heart of the museum district in downtown Miami.

He then moved to MB Development, where over the course of 13 years worked his way from being Superintendent/project manager, General Superintendent and finally Director of Construction Operations. During this time he oversaw and coordinated all aspects of the Pre construction, Construction and Turnover phase of multiple Hotel Projects. Including working closely and coordinating with the Architectural design team and engineers, value engineering, establishing procedures to streamline the process of construction, overseeing pre construction bidding/estimating, creating budgets and construction schedules, contract executions, and construction management of the projects thru final inspections and turnover to hotel operations.

Benji Perez partnered up with his brother John Perez at PRZ Design Build in 2020. With the wealth of knowledge that both have in the design and construction process in South Florida, they are able to offer their clients a full turnkey product and true Design-Build service for any project needs.

Thomas Rodriguez is an Architectural Designer based in Miami, FL.

Thomas Rodriguez received his Master's Degree in Architecture from Florida International University in 2023. Thomas began working for PRZ Design + Build as an intern in 2022, and then transitioned into a full time position as the Associate Architectural Designer. 

Thomas moved to Miami to begin his college journey after growing up in New York City for most of his life. Thomas begins his professional career as a crucial contributor at PRZ and is now managing multiple projects that consist of: Project Development, Construction Documents, Engineering Coordination, and Marketing for the company. He looks to make his mark in his young career here at PRZ, and hopes to achieve many goals within this company for many years.
